Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the speech of children and teachers about the representations of gender and sexuality presenting reflections about the construction of identities in childhood. The study took place in a public school in the town of Sarandi-PR, using the game Trails of Diversity for interventions. We noted that identity constructions are influenced by several factors, including institutions such as family. Regarding the sexual division of labor, we observed in the speech of children and teachers, that there is still a real discrimination, persistent, proven in thoughts even if everyday conversations, it seems to be outdated. . Children tend to reproduce the world of adults, according to the place they should occupy, but always so active in the construction and maintenance of their gender identities.
