EVOLUTION AND TRENDS RESEARCH IN KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IN THE FIELD OF INFORMATION SCIENCE

Abstract

It is observed that in the last five years, the literature has recorded an increase of publications on Knowledge Management (KM) in the area of Information Science (IS). Whereas the IS awoke slowly to the KM in comparison with other areas of knowledge and considering the fact that researchers in the field of IC can not ignore the theoretical richness and methodological KM can bring to their organizations and activities following question: how to configure the work on KM from the rolling landscape of publications over the issues the ENANCIB? To answer this question, the survey aimed to examine the communications on KM published in the Proceedings of the National Research in Information Science (ENANCIB). This is a documentary type research, exploratory-descriptive level, the opportunity for a quantitative and qualitative approach. We identified the units of analysis which focus on knowledge management in all the thematic groups of documentary collection, the authors regarding the institutional origin, nature, levels and the design of the studies in full text, techniques and approaches adopted by the axes KM. This study allowed drawing an evolutionary picture and identifying trends in research on KM in the field of IS.
