Usability: a case study of the Aleph and SophiA WebOPACS Systems in the library Ministro Rubem Rosa - TCU

Abstract

Usability in webOPACs from the use of search tools in libraries online. The work was developed based on the library's catalog Minister Ruben Rosa, the Court of Audit (TCU) that uses software Aleph and Sophia. Aimed to verify the usability in their software analyzing which proves to be friendlier. The TCU library participates in the Network Virtual Library – National Congress (RVVI) and is currently developing its own network, which will be composed of its regional libraries. As a participant of RVBI, she uses the Aleph software and the network that is developing software using the Sophia.
