Abstract

This research deals with scientific dissemination in combating environmental disinformation, with focus on Amazon, Climate, Environment and Sustainability sections of the Jornal Beira do Rio, the Federal University of Pará, in the period from 2018 to 2022. It is characterized by a descriptive research, of a qualitative-quantitative approach, which uses bibliographical research as a procedure. The results obtained show the relevance of the Jornal Beira do Rio to disseminate the research carried out at the University and for the dissemination of science in the North region of Brazil, contributing to people's awareness of their interactions with the environment, with a view to sustainability in the Amazon.
