Abstract

Nowadays, we live in a purely technological society and the use of ICT is aimed at improving the teaching-learning process. This article presents a study of information literacy practices in the context of deafness. It aims to analyze how information literacy for people with deafblindness is dealt with in the literature in the field of information science. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach and the data collection instrument was a bibliographic search on websites and databases in order to find out how information literacy is approached in conjunction with deafblindness. The results achieved show that there is a need for broader work on Information Literacy in the field of deafblindness in the scientific literature, as there is still much to be debated on the subject.
