Analysis of the Competencies of Librarians at the Northern Repository Network

Discusses the skills needed by librarians to work in digital curation and research data management. It sought to verify the degree of importance and level of skills of information professionals who work in the Northern Repository Network. To achieve this, it was necessary to characterize the stages of research data management and skills needed by the librarian; identify the degree of importance and level of competence in their perception and, finally,
present an overview of the importance and skills of librarians regarding their role in research data management. For data collection, the instrument was used
questionnaire, administered virtually to librarians from the Northern Repository Network. He explained the importance of the skills needed by librarians, as well as their level, to work in research data management. It suggests new research based on the same theme, in order to consolidate knowledge about the librarian's role in digital environments.
