This article analyzes the role of the Almir Clementino Muniz Municipal Public Library, located in Ubatã-BA, in promoting knowledge, preserving memory, and fostering social inclusion. The research, based on a qualitative and bibliographic approach, employs a case study method using questionnaires, direct observation, and document analysis to understand how the institution innovates its services and expands access to information. The results show that the library functions as a dynamic space for social interaction, contributing to informational sustainability and strengthening collective memory. Furthermore, its relevance in preserving Bahia’s cultural heritage is highlighted, aligning with the principles of the UN’s 2030 Agenda.
