The research had a qualitative approach, with a documentary research being carried out in the mentioned PPCs. The results indicate that the Portuguese Literature course presents a transversal and interdisciplinary approach to Environmental Education, in order to promote a link between theory and practice addressed in the peculiarities of teacher training. On the other hand, in the Language/Libras course, Environmental Education is not articulated in the course curriculum.
