This article presents the process for developing the Booklet of Anti-Racist Practices in the Psychosocial Care Network, an offshoot of the Censo Psicossocial dos usuários de saúde mental do estado do Rio de Janeiro, part of the Research and Extension Project "Luta Antimanicomial e Feminismos" (UFRJ). In this article we join the popular knowledge and afro-diasporic knowledge from Brasil and the know-how of the brazilian Mental Health field, to introduce an intersectional, anti-racist and anti-asylum perspective of mental health care. We present references of collective care historically produced by the black population in Brasil, in dialogue with care practices developed within the Rede de Atenção Psicossocial (RAPS). To this end, we use elements of Bantu Philosophy and the notions of "aquilombamento" and "encantamento" as a decolonial guiding thread in our discussion, as well as the idea of "sankofa" as a call-to-action to our Psychiatric Reform. Produced in 2025, this booklet embodies the experience of creating educational material that presents possibilities for anti-racist and anti-asylum action in mental health care.
Keywords: mental health; psychosocial care; anti-racist; encantamento.
