PERSPECTIVES FOR A LIBRARY OF THE FUTURE: utopia or reality

Abstract

This articles sets out to verify how changes in the supports used by libraries transform the materials, products and services that they offer. It discusses how the new types of paradigm can be unified and cooperate to form a new type of library in which different kinds of support can be used, thus creating the Universal Library.
