Right to the truth: the National Truth Commission brazilian and narratives of indigenous peoples in the construction of citizenship

Aborda o direito à memória no contexto da justiça de transição na história recente brasileira, tendo por objeto a Comissão Nacional da Verdade - CNV com foco nas informações relativas às violações dos direitos humanos dos povos indígenas. O objetivo é compreender como os documentos produzidos pela CNV auxiliam na construção do direito à memória dos povos indígenas, contribuindo para a promoção dos direitos humanos e na construção da cidadania. Emprega metodologia bibliográfica e documental através da análise textual discursiva proposta por Moraes (1999; 2003), numa abordagem qualitativa. Analisa as narrativas indígenas a partir dos depoimentos prestados à CNV. Examina a relevância da produção e disseminação dos relatos para a construção da memória e da cidadania. Aponta como as práticas documentais da CNV foram importantes para o direito à memória. Assinala a responsabilidade social da Ciência da Informação e seu papel estratégico na formulação de políticas de memória, tanto na perspectiva epistemológica, como nos campos regulatório e tecnológico.
