Abstract

This article aims understand the Rural Education and yours relationship with the peasant identity of the students of E. M. E. F. Nossa Senhora de Fátima, Viamão/RS, which serves the Settlement Filhos de Sepé, based on organic production. This research used the dialectical method, based on an approach and qualitative analysis. It is important consider in carrying out of the daily teaching practices, the context in the school location, which has specific characteristics and peculiarities in the location and production system, thus ensuring the construction and strengthening of the autonomy and identity as children of peasants. However, the reality found is deficient in relation to the recognition of students as children of agrarian reform settlers, thus as their peasant identity it is shown impaired.
