Práticas para a popularização da ciência em Linguística Aplicada

Abstract

There are different spheres of human communication that deal with the popularization of scientific knowledge. The most well-known one – journalism – is just one of them. This is a theoretical article in which I discuss genres and spheres of human communication that popularize scientific knowledge, highlighting linguistic and discursive characteristics of genres of science popularization in the journalistic sphere. Additionally, I aim to present possible ways of popularizing scientific knowledge considering spheres, genres, and areas – specifically in the Language Sciences.
