Cocriação
a novidade no campo da governança pública

O presente artigo tem três objetivos. O primeiro é mostrar que a coprodução foi originalmente vinculada à produção de serviços, enquanto a cocriação tem aplicações mais amplas no campo da governança pública e envolve uma variedade maior de atores e atividades. O segundo é demonstrar como o conceito de cocriação se baseia e expande o conceito de governança colaborativa, adicionando novas dimensões a uma literatura já bem estabelecida. Por último, o terceiro objetivo se trata de mostrar como uma virada estratégica para a cocriação introduz um novo tipo de “governança generativa.” É uma governança voltada a solução de problemas complexos por meio da construção de plataformas que permitem a formação de arenas para a cocriação. Elas reúnem uma infinidade de atores públicos e privados, incluindo cidadãos, em processos criativos de resolução de problemas. Esses três objetivos são alcançados por meio de uma análise teórica prospectiva que busca oferecer base conceitual para examinar evoluções sociais de ponta, ainda bastante incomuns.
