We seek to identify at what stage of CVO are some micro and small companihes distributors of liquefied petroleum gas in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte/MG, according to the typology of Adizes (1990). We conducted a descriptive and quantitative, with ninety companies. In obtaining the data, we used a closed questionnaire with five-point Likert scale, which were analyzed with the technique of Middle Ranking (RM). As for the results of the respondent companies, 53.3% are in the metropolitan area and 46.7% of the capital. More than 98% had up to three partners, and educational level of 54% of these were high school. Only 3.3% of them had no employees, and around 61% had between 2 and 5 employees. More than 60% reported annual revenues of up to R$ 240,000.00, and almost 68% joined the national simple. Approximately 32% of them were active between 2 and 5 years, and 10% had more than 15 years of existence. And did not identify a specific stage of the CVO of these companies, and much was in transition stages. Thus, we can be assumed that these companies are seeking improvements, market positioning, or overcoming some initial stage steps to achieve more stable CVO.Downloads
