Georg Lúkacs, Georg Simmel, The life of soulAbstract
The present paper deals with two philosophical points of view concerning the dualist problem about the relation of the soul with the world: on the one hand, there is Georg Simmel pointing, in an eloquent fashion, the shades of the life of soul in a world dominated by the fragmentary dimension of modernity; on the other hand, there is Georg Lúkacs trying to find a place where such a landscape can be nullified and overcome. This way, we aim to bring both visions of the world closer as well as to put them apart.Downloads
