This text explores theoretical terms—resistance, resurgence, resilience, respect, reciprocity—in contemporary Indigenous literary studies in North America while pointing out that the many of the powerful stories by Indigenous authors that center on the importance of respect, reciprocal relationships, responsibility, and reverence might serve as maps for us all through some of the thorny issues in today’s world.Downloads
