Abstract

In this brief essay, I bring reflections on the changes that have occurred at certain places of the city of Goiana (PE), since the beginning of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus to the socio-sanitary and economic guidelines adopted to minimize the effects of this extraordinary situation. Based on field journal notes, on news published on social media, in addition to observing spatial measures adopted to promote physical distancing among people, we could identify consequences, specially of economic feature, to certain groups that used to exerce their activities in Goiana city center.
