Abstract

In this report, I deal with the extension project “Anthropology with children”, carried out within the (nome da universidade) and outlined from anthropology workshops since 2014 to children between 7 and 12 years old from low-income families. In the text, I discuss the main thematic and conceptual axes of the project, and also about what, in my view, it was possible to accomplish from it. Finally, I present the new directions that the project is taking. In dealing with the project, I seek to emphasize the attempt to ─ in one of the corners of Brazil and in order to stimulate multiple sensitivities ─ expand anthropological discussions beyond the academic environment, making them accessible and more widely known. I also intend  to contribute to teacher training in the field, based on the performance of students within the project.
