Abstract

I have been following the activities of sellers and attendants at a free market for about three years, during which I tried to try out the use of the graphic diary. Between a Friday afternoon and the turn of the morning to Saturday when the fair begins to be set up, I started to produce a series of drawings that seek to graphically represent the movements and rhythms of different social actors who carry out exchanges and interactions in the public market. The drawings gathered in this essay allow us to identify techniques, methods, objects and things observed during the ethnographic experience.
