Abstract

We propose in this article the development of a critical and engaged perspective on the relationship between the State and Anthropology, based on the contributions of radical Black thought, such as Antônio Bispo dos Santos (2015; 2023), Denise Ferreira da Silva (2019; 2022; 2024), Fred Moten and Stefano Harney (2023; 2024), Joy James (1996; 2007), but also contemporary feminist thinkers like Silvia Federici (2017), Verónica Gago (2020), and Elizabeth Povinelli (2023). Our aim is, on the basis of this investigation, rethink the ethical foundation of Anthropology otherwise.
