Integrative review of productions about Knowledge Management in the context of Higher Education Institutions

Abstract

This article analyzes scientific publications on Knowledge Management (KM) applied to the context of Higher Education Institutions based on the Scientific Periodicals Electronic Library (SPELL) database in the period between 2009 and 2024. An integrative review was carried out with qualitative and quantitative aspects. The year of publication, the name of the journal, the number of authors, the type of university in terms of the origin of its resources, the methodology (approach, procedures and objectives), the area of ​​the institution where the research was selected as the axis of analysis were selected. applied and the main results. Of the 33 articles initially located, 23 were analyzed and presented: maximum limit of two articles per year; wide variety of magazines (19); predominance of research at public universities; methodological profile of case study, qualitative and descriptive. Finally, regarding the themes, they are varied, but there is an emphasis on the managerial scope, combined with the evaluation of KM processes. Most studies have a practical bias and aim to contribute to the management of the institution that is the focus of analysis.
