This work aims to understand the possibilities of care facilitated by the construction of bonds in a CAPS AD (Center for Psychosocial Care for Alcohol and Other Drugs), which we situate as a clinic of the unbearable due to the marks of racism, stigma, and prohibitionism in the lives of users of psychoactive substances. Based on the notion of witness, the directions of care for subjects who narrate the unspeakable are discussed. An approximation between psychosocial care and psychoanalysis is proposed, considering the contributions of both fields to an understanding of the bond. This is a qualitative research study, in which a narrative literature review was conducted between August and September 2025 in the SciELO, Google Scholar, and CAPES Periodicals Portal databases, using descriptors such as: psychosocial care, bond, and listening. The survey is articulated with the account of an internship experience during nine months in a CAPS AD located in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. It is considered that bets for care in psychosocial care materialize through the bond and listening, cornerstones of a delicate clinic committed to the expansion of life.
Keywords: psychosocial care; bonding; psychoanalysis; active listening; witness.
