Heurística do labirinto: literatura e cinema em Valêncio Xavier

This article is a study of the contemporary author writing Valêncio Xavier, from the analysis of the short story "O Minotauro" that is in the book O mez da grippe e outros livros (1998). This work intended to contribute to improve the critical analysis of the writer from Parana/Brasil. How study, the text that follows is a simple approach to the mechanisms of aesthetic construction that allowed the writer to find yourself among the many creative possibilities brought about by breaking the hegemony of words about the other signs in the last century. This tale is a broken of tradition and reveals technical accuracy and consistency as guiding theoretical work of fiction it engendered.
