Abstract

In this paper we demonstrate that there is a possibility of rapprochement between the thought of Fernando Pessoa about their aesthetic and literary conceptions, especially when it comes to sensationalism and concepts of Peirce's semiotics in relation to the definitions and classifications of signs and their properties. Thus, we develop analogies and comparisons between Pessoa speech about how the Portuguese poet develops the sensationalism with notions of Zodiac and the categories of Firstness, Secondness and Thirdness have with the person writing some conceptual similarities.
