Abstract

This article seeks to investigate an African aesthetic based on artistic activities done by women or for women. The form of the Aesthetics presented here will be African or Brazilian African, which means that I will investigate the beauty from African and / or African African philosophical theories. In the Brazilian case, the investigation will focus on the works of art by Rosana Paulino and Maria Auxiliadora, enabling a brief investigation of their works from the perspective of the Yoruba itans of human creation and exemplifying the aesthetic standards that connect Africa to its diaspora. For this, it will be important to seek to understand the philosophy of the Yorubá itans, who, in addition to building a whole thought about the existence of things, also help to build a deep reflection on the human personality and the world, which will directly interfere in the construction of an ethics Social.
