TECHNODIVERSITY AND EDUCATION:

REFLECTIONS ON TECHNICAL LEARNING IN THE RURAL MILIEU

Abstract

This article proposes a dialogue between the anthropology of techniques and the field of anthropology and education, aiming to address the sociological and anthropological complexity of technical phenomena. The study focuses on technical learning in rural areas, particularly in agricultural technical assistance and extension, using ethnographic examples from rubber tree culture. The reflection is grounded in the tradition of anthropology of techniques and the concept of technodiversity. The article aims to contribute to the understanding of learning and education from an anthropological perspective on technical processes, considering the plurality of techniques in different contexts.
