Abstract

In this article we seek to discuss the relationship between temporality, health and Covid-19. Understanding time as a socio-anthropological issue, we discuss temporality and its confluences with health processes and disease. Drawing on ethnographic research conducted with women who attend a healthcare service in João Pessoa (Paraíba, Brazil). Concerning their experiences of illness due to the sequelae of Covid-19, we reflect on how certain temporal markers shape the way we read the pandemic phenomenon and its impacts, particularly perceiving the continuities, ruptures and permanences - the remains, remnants or echoes of a pandemic that, for many and many, has not yet ended.
