This article presents and discusses the development of the ThinkTank game, which aims at teaching programming concepts and computational thinking using a constructivist approach. The game utilizes visual programming blocks as the main player mechanics to control a robot in an arena, being suitable for audiences with little to no programming experience. The main difference between this game and others similar to it is its multiplayer feature, where learners challenge each other by playing competitively with their robots in an online arena, stimulating learning of new algorithms and strategies to win. It is also presented an initial prototype of the game, as well improvements and further directions.
