AINDA HÁ ESPAÇO PARA AS AULAS DE LITERATURA NA ESCOLA?

Resumo

RESUMO: este estudo nasceu da interrogação de estudantes de Letras, sobre a necessidade real de estudar e ensinar Literatura. Diante da gravidade do questionamento, coube-nos explorar se havia um quantitativo maior ou não atravessando tal dúvida. Aplicamos um questionário com 40 alunos do referido curso, de dez municípios do interior do estado. Finalizada a etapa, a análise do material coletado confirmou as indagações do grupo inicial e nos lançou na busca pelas causas do problema. Valendo-nos de dados bibliográficos de Zilberman, Kleiman, Cosson e Leahy-Dios, levantamos as condições históricas que envolveram da chegada da Literatura na escola até os dias atuais e encontramos inúmeros fatores geradores das inquietações dos estudantes. Concluímos que todos esses fatores ajudaram a colocar em dúvida a importância desse estudo. Como proposta para a mudança dessa visão, trouxemos a concepção de letramento literário de Rildo Cosson que estabelece novas práticas para o ensino de literatura. ABSTRACT: This study arose from the interrogation of students of literature, about the real need to study and teach literature. Given the seriousness of inquiry, it fell to us to explore whether there was a greater quantity passing or not such doubt. We applied a questionnaire with 40 students in that course of ten municipalities in the state. After completion of the step, the analysis of the collected material confirmed the group’s initial inquiry and released in the search for the causes of the problem. Making it the bibliographic data: Zilberman, Kleiman, Cosson and Leahy-Dios, raised the historical conditions surrounding the arrival of Literature in school until the present day and found several factors that generate the students’ concerns. We conclude that all these factors helped to cast doubt on the importance of this study. As a proposal to change this view, brought the concept of literacy literary Rildo Cosson establishing news practices in teaching of literature.
