Abstract

The following article analyzes the problem of memory and tradition in Proust´s literature rom the perspective of Walter Benjamin´s critic. It intends also to discuss the concepts of esthetic experience, tradition, involuntary memory and voluntary memory. However, the riting makes an attempt to read these concepts from a sociological, philosophical and hstorical point of view. The article discusses the benjaminian reading of Proust’s work.Keywords: memory, tradition, aesthetic experience, literature philosophy, literature critic.
