Information access and the contribution of information architecture, usability and accessibility

Abstract

It presents questions concerning the contribution of integrating the principles of Information Architecture, considering the organization, navigation, labeling and search systems, and, the Usability and Accessibility in information access. Reflects on access, especially after the implementation of the General Law of Access to Information under the Federal Executive Decree No. 7.724/2012. Considers that the Information and Communication Technologies should be used to facilitate access to all users, regardless of their physical or cognitive limitations, although it may be perceived potential barriers, even considering the recommendations of the Brazilian government through the web standards in Eletronic Government.
