VISUAL NARRATIVE, INFORMATION AND MEDIATION OF THE COMMON SPIRIT IN COMMUNITARY FESTIVITIES

Abstract

The objective of this article is to reveal as a the visual narrative assist in the construction of the sense of the community parties, a time that it is present in all the spaces and stages of the celebrations. The field research was carried out in the community parties in the city of Estrela - Rio Grande Do Sul in the period of 2004 the 2007. Through interviews, of the register of images and the participant observation was possible to analyze as a  visual narrative mediatiza the real and symbolic exchanges among the social actors who participate of these events. The visual narratives, in the context of the community parties, are gifts in the form of images (graphical, signals, colors...). The visual narrative as a media of the information of the senses of the party is responsible for the mediation of the construction of its common spirit.
