DIMENSIONS AND RELATIONS BETWEEN INFORMATION SCIENCE AND COGNITIVE SCIENCE: FOLLOWED WAYS AND WAYS TO TAKE

Abstract

This article discusses the intersections of Information Science with Cognitive Science, seeking anchors, arguments, and backgrounds to feed and to produce knowledge and action, increasing studies and approaches. This is justified by the proliferating research proposes to examine interdisciplinary, pluridisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary nature that characterizes the sciences contemporaries, including the Informatin Science, outlining contradictions and differences, the heterogeneity that underlie the practices and social relations, under taking the individuals who access and use information. One searches to understand different paradigms and their influences in the context of science, especially the cognitive paradigm in the Information Science.
