This work aims to investigate the paradigm and hegemony of the philosophical text as one of the elements responsible for legitimizing the way in which the philosopher is formed, their exercises, and practices. Our initial inquiry lies in the question: would it be correct to affirm, based on philosophical tradition, that it is only possible to do philosophy through established texts, by authors considered canonical? By focusing on this questioning about the uniqueness of the text in the formative process and reflecting on the role of the philosopher and their practices, other questions and possibilities arise: as philosophers shaped by these practices and methods, could we express ourselves philosophically through another medium, rather than through logical-deductive text? As the movement of explanation and assimilation of the ideas present in texts shapes a large part of our formation, when we question this uniqueness of the text as expression, we carry out an investigation about our own formation, about ourselves, because by investigating our formation and our inheritances, we can reflect on the possibility of expressing philosophically through a medium other than the logical-deductive text.
