A apresentação de um projeto construído a partir do gênero Three-Minute Thesis

Abstract

This article aims at explaining the process of creating a podcast to disseminate and combat violence against women based on a demand from civil society and, based on the results of the analysis of the most accessed episode on YouTube, it also aims at highlighting the common characteristics of the episode analyzed with the 3MT didactic model (XXXX, 2021a), the model on which the podcast was created. Both the podcast analysis and the 3MT didactic model synthesized here were based on the textual analysis framework of sociodiscursive interactionism (BRONCKART, 1999; 2006). The results showed the use of the explanatory sequence, the presence of theoretical and interactive discourse, and also the presence of different modalizations and voices that bring similarities with the 3MT. Differences also occur, partly due to the fact that the proposed podcast is edited and, therefore, has more scope for using linguistic and multimodal strategies. With this, we defend the idea that the science communication podcast can be considered a textual and media genre that can contribute to scientific communication as well as strengthening the relationship between society and university.
