ISSN 1679-6101

DLCV (UFPB) journal has two International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) records, as it had editions in printed format, and has been adapted, more recently, to the electronic format. Today, the journal maintains only its digital publication and is in a constant process of improving its contents, as new technologies and demands for electronic reading and access arise. Both records are still linked to each other, as they are the same periodical publication.

We strongly recommend that collaborators use the ISSN (ISSN in the printed format) as a preferred identifier when DLCV (UFPB) publications are to be inserted in office systems, curricula, open-sharing and collaboration networks, and other scholar-scientific databases.

This initiative helps in synchronizing our data with the authors', mainly for mutual identification purposes with the Brazilian scoring board from Capes' WebQualis. It means that, despite the electronic ISSN, WebQualis considers the oldest registration in its systems and, therefore, collects only the printed ISSN metrics. To optimize our assessments, it is extremely important to prioritize the use of ISSN 1679-6101.
