Abstract

This work seeks to bring forth new poetic perspectives to the very point of intersection of Mexican and Brazilian literary representations around religion and society, from a feminist and anti-clerical perspective. Far from the artificial limits of national literatures, we seek to approach, based on cross-cultural interpretations and through theoretical tools of Stylistics and Comparative Literature, the common denominator reached by two writers expressing the poetic experience upon a decolonial insubmission and, therefore, upon the early feminism in Latin American literature.
