labICE – Laboratório de Inovações Computacionais e de Engenharia

Abstract

This article presents labICE (Laboratory of Computational and Engineering Innovation), which is an interdisciplinary laboratory that aims to develop academic research aligned with innovation, in areas such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Health, Distributed Systems and Internet of Things. The laboratory is dedicated to teaching, research and extension. It has a strong multi-institutional basis for carrying out research projects. It presents opportunities for the formation and improvement of qualified labor at the undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral levels. This is solidified by several publications in national and international media, software registration and awards it has received.
