Virtual Reality (VR) in training has brought savings and security in activities in the most diverse areas. This article proposes using VR in police and military forces training, involving shooting practices and evaluating conduct and decision-making. Thus, we propose a particular architecture to provide resources for trainees and instructors, allowing a highly controlled simulation to train security forces professionals. Such a solution should be used as a complement to traditional training methods, trying to minimize expenses with material resources (rental of stands/locations, acquisition of projectiles and weapons, etc.) and always seeking to guarantee the maintenance of the safety of all those involved.
