Abstract

This article has as main topic the current Spotify interface in its version for desktop, focusing on what has been suggested to name as “recommendation mechanisms”. As a content analysis, that defines the elements of the interface as a part of its construction, this article has as the main goal to develop a more detailed and specific analysis around the ways that the platform recommends content for its users, considering the apparent aspects (easily noted as recommendation mechanisms) and indirect aspects (text and visual elements).
