THE Children's literature and interdisciplinarity in the literacy cycle

Abstract

The present study aims to encourage children to the habit of reading, in addition to developing their potential. So, we carried out a bibliographic research guided by authors such as: Solé (2018), Leffa (1996), Cosson (2021), Lerner (2002), among others, which deal with reading, reading comprehension strategies and interdisciplinarity. Then, we made a brief report of an interdisciplinary didactic sequence based on children's literature, developed in two classes of the 2nd year of Elementary School, second stage of the Literacy Cycle, at Escola Municipal Aruanda, belonging to the Municipal Network of João Pessoa, PB The results of the analysis showed that the practice of reading offers countless benefits to children, directly impacting concentration, reasoning, understanding, imagination, in addition to contributing to the literacy and literacy process of children.

Graduação em Letras, Português, Inglês e suas Literaturas pela UPE. Especialista em Linguística Aplicada pela FUNESO, Psicopedagogia clínica e institucional pelo CINTEP, Mestre e Doutor em Linguística pela UFPB. Pós-doutorado em Ensino pela UERN. Docente permanente do PROLING/UFPB, MPLE/UPFB e professor efetivo DLPL/UFPB

Marleide Maria Arruda Linhares Isaias, Universidade Federal da Paraíba

Graduação em Lic. Programa de Português e suas literaturas pela Faculdade Integrada da Grande Fortaleza (2015), graduação em PEDAGOGIA pela Universidade Estadual do Ceará (2002), especialista em Psicopedagogia pela Universidade Vale do Acaraú (UVA) e mestranda em Linguística e Ensino pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba. Atualmente é Diretora da Educação Básica da Secretaria da Educação em Morada Nova-Ce e formadora do 1º ano - Secretaria de Educação Básica de Morada Nova - Ce. Tem experiência nas turmas do Ensino Fundamental I e II e na área de Educação, com ênfase em Métodos e Técnicas de Ensino.
