The present work is an experience report, as it seeks to discuss, after practices experienced in the Supervised Internship I, carried out by the undergraduate student of the Degree in Portuguese Language and Literature at the Federal Rural University of Amazonia, Campus Belém, in the finals years of Secondary School at a 9th grade class, at Virgilio Libonati Estate School. This report aims to share the experiences lived in the classroom and the teaching-learning process of the grade observed, then to reflect on the applications used and support the discussion of the process between theory and practice. Therefore, the scope of the study is supported by a bibliographical research on the thoughts of Antunes (2003), Belotti (2010), Pimenta (2002), and among others. From what was observed and applied, the importance of the Supervised Internship becomes vital due to the need to know the reality of how Portuguese is being teached.
