The application of Information Systems (IS) as a tool to support the implementation of business activities has increased significantly. Based on this, this study examines the use of IS through the integration of models TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and the TTF (Task-Technology Fit). However, it is known that there are differences between the hierarchical levels on the tasks and is believed that its could influence the IS use. Thus, the objective of this paper was to identify the factors leading individuals of different hierarchical levels to use the IS, looking from the point of view of individuals behavior and attitudes, the fit that this technology has with the tasks and their hierarchical levels. The questionnaire was administered to 474 employees of two organizations in the Rio Grande do Sul. The results indicate that the hierarchical levels influence the use of IS, the perceived ease of use and the task-technology fit. The use, too, is influenced by the intention to use, being its determined by the fit perception, the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of technology.
