THE ARCHIVAL INFORMATION AND THE DECISION-MAKING PROCESS

Abstract

This study presents considerations about the complex decision-making process, introducing some definitions about the subject. It argues about the importance of information, in the context of decision, once, many people believe, that the organizations that increase their successes today are not those that have significant funds, but the ones that have and make better use of the information. It defines strategic information, as well as its role through the viewpoint of competitive intelligence. It points to the importance of the archival information to the decisionmaking process.
