In this article we present the foundations and the conception of emancipation in Jürgen Habermas in the period of his work that includes Theory and praxis, Technique and science as "ideology" and Knowledge and interest. This is a clipping of The theory of emancipation in Karl Marx and Jürgen Habermas. For this purpose, the conceptions underlying the Habermasian emancipatory problem of this period are analyzed. In this sense, the concepts of work, interaction, language, interest, reflection, reconstruction and science are also presented as the constituents of the emancipatory dimension. And the Habermasian conception of emancipation is constituted in this universe of language, reflection, interaction and interest.
