Os modos de pensar dos povos africanos e dos povos originários do continente americano tem sido ocultados na produção filosófica acadêmica e uma das maneiras de enfrentar esse racismo é discutir essa produção de pensamento. Por isso, fazer filosofia africana, no continente ou na diáspora, é resistir. Resistir a uma tentativa de apagamento que busca exterminar a potência negra no mundo. Assim, apresentamos esse Número Especial sobre Filosofia Africana implicada em um projeto ancestral do combinado de não morrer pelas mãos do racismo.
