In accordance with this policy, the journal declares that authors retain full copyright ownership of their articles. Following publication, authors are permitted to publish and distribute their work online—whether on personal websites or in institutional repositories—provided they always include a full citation of the publication in RLE. Disseminating scientific output serves, among other things, to increase the work's impact and citation count.

By submitting, authors declare that the manuscript is original and unpublished. They agree to allow RLE to make the manuscript available in the national and international databases, repositories, directories, digital archives, digital libraries, and bibliometric databases in which RLE is indexed.

Authors may also enter into separate, additional agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in this journal—such as including it in a book chapter—provided they acknowledge the initial publication in RLE.

Authors authorize the editors to make any necessary textual adjustments and formatting changes to ensure compliance with the journal's publication standards.
