THE PLAY THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION: AXIS MOVEMENT

The research reflects on the importance of playing in Early Childhood Education, and the focus of its analysis is the National Curriculum for Early Childhood Education -movement axis. It is a research of qualitative nature, whose objective was to understand the importance of playing in Early Childhood Education and its contributions to development of child. The study was carried out in a Centerfor Early Childhood Education, located in the western areaof the city of Londrina, in which we used a semi-structured questionnaire for data collection, that was answered by 16 teachers. The result of this study demonstrated that the school that was searched values the movement and has an adequate space for children to play, such as parks, outdoor area, among others. The teachers recognize the importance of movement for child and its contribution to learning. We conclude, by analyzing the answers of the research subjects, that they value play and the movement axis so that the child knows his/her limits and his/her body.
