UMA CIDADE ENXERIDA: COTIDIANO, CONTROLE E LAZER NA CIDADE DE CAMPINA GRANDE
Abstract
The daily life of a city is marked by constant practices of its inhabitants, one of the concepts that creates more difficulty for historians is to define exactly what is everyday life. In the case of this paper is exactly what we intend to oppose: the fun moments to moments always the same, always monotonous, always regarded as sameness in Campina Grande from 1945 to 1965, and demonstrate, through a series of speeches and speeches delivered at the time attempted disciplining people, spaces and the everyday practices of residents, especially the poorest. Such discourses sought, in our view, create a harmonious and Campina Grande regarded as a common goal for all inhabitants of that metropolis.Downloads
